I was literally weeping this morning as I thought on the recent passing of the Reproductive Health Act in New York and the celebration of its passing.
What have we become?
There is something so monstrous and ghoulish about seeing people openly celebrating the government-sanctioned, legalized murder of children.
This is us. This is who we are. This is what we’ve become. We are monsters!
I remember whenever I spoke out against legalized, government-sanctioned sodomy, everyone uttered the same talking point, the same tired rhetoric–that I was “on the wrong side of history.” Well, I guess this is the right side of history too. Government-sanctioned killing of babies is progress. This is a civilized society.
I am speechless.
Satan is never satisfied with just a little. The more we concede, the more we allow sin in our society, the greater it grows, whether it is the full embrace of complete sexual immorality, then gender/sex confusion, and now the killing of full-term babies. Satan keeps pushing the envelope further and further. What’s next? If parents have a 3 year-old who is getting on their nerves, will there be government centers where the parents can take their child to dispose of her? That might sound outrageous or crazy, but two men or two women legally marrying would have sounded crazy 20 years ago. Men legally being referred to as women and women legally being referred to as men would have sounded crazy 20 years ago. Killing full-term babies (or a baby at any point!) sounds crazy now–but these have all become realities.
I cannot even open my mouth to say, “God have mercy on us.”
We do not deserve mercy. Not an ounce.
We deserve every ounce of wrath, fire, and brimstone that will one day rain down upon us.
We are monsters!
Repent and beg the Lord Jesus Christ for forgiveness…while there is still a little time left.
16 These six things doth the Lord hate:
yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
17 a proud look, a lying tongue,
and hands that shed innocent blood,
And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground.
20 Moreover thou hast taken thy sons and thy daughters, whom thou hast borne unto me, and these hast thou sacrificed unto them to be devoured. Is this of thy whoredoms a small matter, 21 that thou hast slain my children, and delivered them to cause them to pass through the fire for them?
And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the Lord.
they have built also the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spake it, neither came it into my mind:
And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.
Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all.
So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife: and when he went in unto her, the Lord gave her conception, and she bare a son.
And I took your father Abraham from the other side of the flood, and led him throughout all the land of Canaan, and multiplied his seed, and gave him Isaac.
